Wake Up

This option makes it possible to force the offline endpoint to wake up by sending it a WakeOn-Lan signal.

Important Information

Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Communications > Timers > Alter the port number under 'Wake on LAN Port Number' to match your network.

Depending on your network and device configuration it can take up to 3 minutes to wake up a device.

Prerequisites 

An offline device that has 'WOL' enabled in the BIOS

An online vReps that can communicate to the device's network

An account that has the 'Wake on LAN' permissions

Open the Overview screen of a device and click on 'Wake up' button.

You can also select one or many devices (while holding CTRL or SHIFT) and:

  • Right-click a device and choose 'Wake Up' from the sub-menu
  • Click 'Wake Up' at the top of the interface
