Mac OS Updates
Deploy software updates released by Apple that include critical security patches, performance improvements, new features, and bug fixes for Mac devices.
To deploy macOS updates (including minor and major version upgrades) through Absolute console, a MacOS Patching Profile must be installed on the device. Once the profile is installed, the Mac will be automatically scanned for available updates.
The Mac Updates under the Vulnerabilities section reflect the same updates. If you have more than one Mac, the update list aggregates available updates across all devices. You can select and deploy updates from there in the same way.
Important Information Updates are applied using native Apple update methods. Some updates may not deploy due to macOS system limitations or Apple restrictions |
